Rich Arbitelle Art Series - $79.00
After getting his start in graffiti and pencil drawings, Atlanta-based artist Rich Arbitelle, who is primarily self-taught, has expanded his work to include paintings, ink drawings, apparel/skateboard graphic design, art boards, muscle car designs and photography.
Inspired by his come-up in '90s New York City as a skateboarder, where he was featured in Larry Clark's 1995 cult classic Kids and co-owned the skateboard company Brooklyn Boards, Rich takes aspects of urban grittiness and blends them with renderings of the natural and spirit worlds, incorporating his Native American roots into his vision. His aesthetic is distinguished by intricate line work, haunting portraiture, and urban calligraphy. Larger image here.
